ALC Hypnotherapy

Hi, I’m Amy.

I’m a qualified hypnotherapist  based in Shropshire but able to work both in person and online.  I hold the Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD) which is seen as the gold standard qualification in hypnotherapy qualifications.  I also hold the Diploma in Advanced Hypnosis (DAH). I am a member of The National Council of Hypnotherapy (NCH) which means I uphold their standards and must adhere to stringent self-regulation, undertake mandatory CPD, supervisions and adhere to their code of ethics and practice. I look forward to working with you soon!

Reviews

A close-up, photographic view of a minimalist desktop setup in a hypnotherapy practice, showing an open leather-bound notebook with tidy handwritten session plans, a silver pen resting diagonally across the page, and a small hourglass with pale sand mid-flow. The desk is a smooth light-ash wood surface, positioned near a large window. Soft overcast daylight falls from the left, creating gentle highlights on the pen and subtle reflections in the glass of the hourglass. In the softly blurred background, a discreet diffuser emits a faint mist beside a neatly labeled folder reading “Stress & Anxiety Support.” Shot from a slightly elevated angle with shallow depth of field, the image feels orderly, professional, and reassuring.

“Amy was very professional and put me at my ease. I was much more relaxed and slept much better afterwards.”

An inviting corner of a therapy space in Shrewsbury, showing a plush teal armchair facing a low beechwood coffee table, both empty of people. On the table lies a stack of pastel-colored mindfulness cards, a small ceramic bowl filled with polished worry stones, and a lit soy candle in a frosted glass holder. The walls are painted a soft, warm white with a framed abstract artwork in muted blues and greens. Late afternoon natural light enters through a side window, combining with a floor lamp’s warm glow to create layered, comforting illumination and soft shadows. Photographed at eye level with balanced composition and moderate depth of field, the scene conveys a calm, safe, and professional hypnotherapy environment focused on easing stress and anxiety.
